I have been involved in the development, standardization,
testing and use of avalanche transceivers since 1973.

Since 2011, I have been a member of the group "Sicherheit" of the
"Regionalkonferenz Nördlich Lägern", an entity that fosters the
participation of the local population in the process of selecting
a site for a Swiss nuclear waste repository.
